Drawn to Nature from a very early age,
I traced racoon tracks in the sand along the water’s edge
and drank colors from the sky.
Nature has been my mother and my teacher.
Through Nature I found Art.
Through Art, I found Salvation.

  1. There is one specific colour I see in nature that makes me want to pick up a brush. When ever I see it I’m inspired to paint. Whenever I see a tree that twists and grows where it pleases I’m inspired to paint.

I paint for healing and in my personal healing I plan to find salvation from myself.

    I really like this poem.

Thank you for your comment, Austin.
I am totally new to workpress and am trying to figure out a number of mysteries yet. . . I look forward to when I can wax freely on this new blog.

    Until soon.

    I too followed tracks; racoon,bear,pheasant,mice,girls,
and I don’t remember too much about drinking colors
from the sky,but I think I’ve just had just enough to drink, and now that I’ve seen your art, I want to track you.
